The Wednesday Workbench #3

On Patience, Acceptance and Still Not Traveling

Hi all, Happy Wednesday to you! The third issue of The Wednesday Workbench is now available here. For my regular blog/podcast subscribers, I write and distribute this through MailChimp, so I’ll continue to post the link here. If you want the original newsletter in your email inbox (because who doesn’t want MORE emails in their inbox), you can subscribe here.

In other news…

Season 3 of The Workbench Podcast launches next Saturday, Feb 27th! Join me for a great conversation with my friend, colleague and leadership consultant Karl Bimshas. He shares his experiences in becoming an entrepreneur and talks about his work as a consultant. And on March 13th, another episode of the podcast will be available…stay tuned!

Food for thought:

This quote recently caught my eye:

Where is the knowledge we have lost in information?

T.S. Eliot

I continue to edit my task list and reduce distractions, and this quote in Greg McKeown’s book, Essentialism hit home this week. I am finding that no matter how much I’ve edited, more needs to be cut to focus on the things that light me up. Is this also true for you? If so, I offer a Workbench Challenge: What can you edit or reduce or purge this week to allow your mind to become more clear?

Sending love and light….

K
